Clinical Supervision

I currently have a small number of openings for therapists and other medical professionals interested in reflective clinical consultation and mentoring services. Health professionals may have access to funded counselling sessions, supported by Medical Assurance Society (MAS) and Medical Protection.

My rate is $230 NZD (approximately $145 USD) per a 50 minute session.

I work with professionals on clinical consultation and ACT skills development. I am skilled at wedding the science of growth and change with the soul and art of the work we do. I love working with other professionals who value growth, vulnerability, and stretching (even though it is hard and uncomfortable!) I’m also a loving, warm, and compassionate cheerleader. I’m excited to help you keep growing in your purpose-driven work.

Monthly ACT Consult Group

Join a monthly clinical consultation group led by Dr. Kerry Makin-Byrd*. 

In each meeting, 2-3 therapists will present a clinical example for consultation. Via exercises and role plays, you’ll learn to identify common client stuck points and practice flexible, nimble clinical interventions.

*LEADER BACKGROUND: Kerry has over a decade of experience teaching third-wave behavioural interventions including ACT and supervising therapists. Mentored by Dr. Robyn Walser, international ACT expert, for over a decade, Kerry continues to receive fortnightly master supervision on ACT, mindfulness, and trauma treatments.
